JOEL ERLITZ

President

Joel is President, Designated Broker, and principal stockholder of First Commercial Property Corporation in Seattle, Washington. For the last 34+ years Mr. Erlitz has represented community owners in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana. He has been appointed twice by Governors to represent Manufactured Housing Communities of Washington, Inc. (MHCW), an industry trade organization on State funded task forces. He is a past state president and has sat on the Board of Directors of MHCW for over twenty five years. He owns and operates manufactured housing communities in Washington and Idaho, and fee manages communities for a select few clients. He is politically active in state politics as it affects the MHC industry. He has been hired by lending institutions, developers and by legal counsel to provided expert testimony on issues relating to management and ownership of land lease communities. Prior to his involvement with manufactured housing communities, Mr. Erlitz studied and taught at Washington State, Ohio State, and Ohio University for his PhD, Masters and BA respectively.

 

ROSS RONGNER

Ross is a licensed Real Estate Broker in Washington and Oregon and a stockholder in First Commercial Property Corporation. He is President of the Cascade Chapter of Manufactured Housing Communities of Washington, Inc. (MHCW) and sits on its Board of Directors. He is politically active in state politics as it affects the MHC industry and he co-owns a 50 space MHC in Olympia, Washington. He started his career as an on-site manager and has been active within the property management industry for the last 20 years. Prior to joining FCPC, he managed multi-family apartment communities, retail locations, condominium associations, and manufactured housing communities. He was Senior Portfolio Manager and Director of Manufactured Housing Management for 10+ years at a large property management firm in Washington prior to joining FCPC.

 

TOM GRIFFIN

Vice President & Senior Portfolio Manager

Tom is a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and after returning back to Texas he served as a police officer. He currently co-owns a 50 space MHC with other corporate members. For thirteen years, he was the on-site manager for a national manufactured housing community syndicator including handling all aspects of budgets, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll for staff and retailing home sales while managing a 960 space manufactured housing community in Missouri and 2,833 spaces in Texas. He began his tenure for First Commercial Property Corporation in 1993 and has managed three communities for the company as an on-site manager. He is also a stockholder in Park Improvement Corporation.

 

ERIK BELL

Erik has over 10 years of management experience in various industries involving sales, operations and financial services. He is a graduate from Central Washington University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration specializing in operations management. While attending college, Erik participated as an athlete and also managed statewide sales/operations for a farmer’s market vendor. Prior to joining First Commercial Property Corporation, Erik worked his way up the ranks to eventually manage operations at a customized payment processing facility for institutions including Seattle City Light, UW Medicine, UW Physicians, Group Health, City of Bellevue, City of Tacoma and others. He is a licensed real estate broker with First Commercial Property Corporation.

 

KATHIE GRIFFIN

Senior Portfolio Manager

After serving as a Licensed Practical Nurse for over 22 years, Kathy became a licensed Real Estate Broker for First Commercial Property Corporation in 2008. She is an on-site portfolio manager working with tenants, vendors, data entry personnel, and managers. She conducts lease audits, landlord/Sheriff lien sales and four-sided home and lot inspections. Her facility with computers and her specialized tenant relation skills make her a valued team member.

 

JOHN C. ZIMMERMAN

John has 30 plus years of real estate experience working primarily in administration and property management of commercial and residential projects. He has extensive experience in land assembly and acquisition, syndication, rezone and development. He is proficient in accounting oversight, budget and financial management, taxation, and the implementation of systems and procedures. Having developed, owned and managed several parks he has had the opportunity to work closely with park managers to develop enforceable rules and regulations. He has administered the acquisition, rehab, sales and financing of countless manufactured homes and has a very good practical understanding of value creation in mobile home park communities. He is a graduate of The University of Washington with a B.A. in Business Administration and is an Enrolled Agent with the Internal Revenue Service.

 

SALLY HARRINGTON

Senior Manager / Trainer

Sally has been a Regional Property Manager for over 25 years and specializes in manufactured home community management. She was instrumental in bringing the two community owners’ associations together in 1990 to form Manufactured Housing Communities of Oregon (MHCO) and has been an active participant ever since. She is a past President of MHCO and its predecessor (MPOA) and served as a board member for many years. As a member of the legislative committee for 10 years and five years as Chairperson, she became an expert on changes in government policy that affect the rights of owners and residents. As the initiator of the Landlord/Tenant Coalition in 1997, Sally worked with other industry leaders to resolve many issues facing the manufactured housing industry and proposed legislation known as the Abandonment Procedure for abandoned homes. She has contributed countless hours on other committees, seminars, legislative issues, and task forces. Sally is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of Oregon.

 

SCOTT MULLENS

Scott holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Chaminade University of Honolulu. He has over 18 years of experience in the finance industry with a strong focus on the manufactured housing industry. Scott has worked for Bergen Acceptance, Green Tree Financial, Chase Home Finance, and most recently with 21st Mortgage. He held several different positions with these companies including Dealer Representative, Credit Manager, and Remarketing Manager. He also served as a former President of the Portland Junior Chamber of Commerce. Scott brings to First Commercial Property Corp his professionalism, honesty, and unflappable determination. Scott is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of Oregon.

 

MIKE SCHULTZ

Controller

Mike has enjoyed a seasoned career across various industries. He has managed and owned rental property, founded and managed a regional collection agency, served as President & COO of a national collection agency, owned and published a regional newspaper, served as Corporate Credit Manager of a global wholesaler, and recently served as Accountant for a large regional self-storage company. Mike has held executive-level positions in a diverse range of companies over the last 25 years with an emphasis in financial analysis and organizational efficiency. Mike brings to FCP a strong sense of professional accountability, objective analysis, proactive planning, vision and innate passion for efficiency. When not at the office, Mike enjoys breathing new life into something old with historic house and classic motor yacht restorations, and cruising his vintage 60' Chris-Craft LUXURIA in and around beautiful Puget Sound.

 

ELIZABETH ORTIZ

Accountant

Elizabeth (Liz) graduated with an Associate in Business degree from South Puget Sound Community College. She has several years of experience working with financial institutions in accounting-related roles including tax preparation in western Washington. Currently, Liz is pursuing her Bachelor's in Business Administration from University of Washington while doing accounting at FCPC. She is a high-achieving individual with intense focus on all her work.

 

EVAN BLANSHAN

Accountant

Evan is an Accountant with over 10 years of financial and operations experience. He graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance. While attending WSU, he successfully competed in Track & Field and Cross Country as well as earning First Team All Conference academic honors. After graduation, he worked as a credit manager and personal banker at one of the nation's largest banks. Prior to joining FCPC, Evan worked as a Senior Associate at a firm specializing in asset management with a focus on high net worth clients.
